Made for working professional Producers searching for a feature-rich USB recording solution with extensive connectivity, the Studio 1824 audio/MIDI interface from PreSonus is loaded with analog and digital I/O along with an 18x8 DSP monitor mixer, and is able to record up to 24-bit, 192 kHz audio. The central hub of your studio

The Studio 1824 comes equipped with 2 front-panel combo mic and switchable line/instrument inputs plus 6 rear-panel mic/line inputs, all of which include +48V phantom power for use with condenser mics. Its 8 channels of ADAT Optical I/O (4 channels at 96 kHz) allows expandability of the unit with a multichannel preamp/ADC, such as PreSonus' premium-quality DigiMax DP88 (sold separately). Along with its L/R main outputs that include front-panel Mute, Mono, and level controls, the unit provides you with 8 balanced line outputs for monitor mixing as well as stereo S/PDIF digital I/O and 2 stereo headphone outputs. All line-level outputs are DC coupled, so they're capable of sending control voltages. With the 1824's built-in DSP, you can create 4 stereo near-zero latency monitor mixes. If all that weren't enough, a BNC word clock output enables synchronization with other digital devices, and integral MIDI I/O offers a MIDI connection to a keyboard, sound module, or control surface. To sum it all up, with the Studio 1824, you get a true central hub for your studio.
