Product Overview

The Studio 1810 from PreSonus is a high-quality USB audio interface that achieves superior sound thanks to the best sounding preamps available, as well as top-quality digital converters, and is at home in DJ/Live gigs as well as in the studio. It's I/O consists of 18 flexible inputs, 8 outputs, cue mix monitoring on the first of 2 headphone outputs, and onboard DSP monitor mixer which is integrated into both Studio One® Artist and UC Surface software. The Studio 1810 operates at a sampling rate of up to 192 kHz, delivering ultra-high-definition mixing and recording.

XMAX Mic Preamps - These Class A preamps offer incredibly high headroom, deep lows as well as smooth highs, and a high-quality, rich overall sound, letting you hear every breath, every transient, and all the detail in your recordings – ideal for both vocal production and sampling.

High-grade digital converters - Located on every input and output, these provide 115 dB of dynamic range, enabling you to capture complex musical harmonics smoothly, naturally, and with no audible distortion.

All the inputs you need - Along with the XMAX mic preamps, the first 2 inputs include instrument preamps which let you directly connect guitars and basses with no D.I. box necessary. Line-level inputs with 40 dB of gain for low-level line devices are featured on all 4 of the combo connections. Four direct-to-ADC balanced line inputs work great for hooking up synthesizers, outboard preamps, and channel strips. And it's equipped with 8 channels of ADAT Optical input (4 channels at 96 kHz), allowing you to expand your inputs with an 8-channel converter like PreSonus' premium-quality DigiMax DP88 (sold separately), so you can grow your recording system right along with your synth collection.

In the studio and on the gig - You can choose between 2 mixes with a button press, using the Cue Mix A/B feature located on the first of 2 high-powered headphone outputs. This provides the flexibility you'll need for use during live DJ performances as well as studio collaboration. In addition to L/R main outputs with front-panel Mute and level controls, you get 4 balanced line outputs for monitor mixing, plus stereo S/PDIF digital I/O. All line-level outputs are DC coupled, so they're able to send control voltages. The unit's 18x6 monitor mixer lets you create 3 stereo near-zero-latency monitor mixes, and its integral MIDI I/O enables connection to a keyboard, sound module, or control surface too, so this versatile interface can easily be the heart of your studio.

World-class recording software included - The Studio 1810 interface is great when working with virtually any Mac®- or Windows®-based audio-recording software, but especially shines when used with the included PreSonus Studio One® Artist DAW.
