Enjoy full-duplex-yet-hands-free communication
A combined UltraLITE + HUB system from Eartec, the HUB7SMXS provides an expanded HUB system capacity, specially designed for larger crews that require full-duplex communication while simultaneously working with their hands. It includes the HUB wearable Mini Base, which directly connects with the included Max4G Single wired headset, along with 6 UltraLITE Wireless Single headsets, for full 7-person operation. Also included in this great value package is a convenient carry/storage case, batteries, and multi-battery charger.
The compact transceiver weighs in at only 9 oz., and can either be strategically placed "on location" or belt-worn. It features 2 channels, uses rechargeable lithium batteries, and operates in the DECT license-free band. When comfortably clipped to the user's waist, it can move right along with your group for full group mobility, allowing up to 6 UltraLITE wireless headsets to remain connected in full duplex, within a 400-yard range of the HUB. Additionally, this particular system is designed to employ the HUB itself to be used as the 7th full duplex transceiver, working with an additional included Eartec wired Max4G Single headset plugged into its integrated dual-pin input jack.
When it comes to performance and convenience, this headset eclipses other full-duplex wireless headsets, thanks to the transceiver being built right into the headset's ear cup. It's a self-contained "all-in-one" design that eliminates wires and even belt-worn radios.

This seemed like a great product at first, but it became quickly evident that the battery life is nowhere near 6 hours, it is barely 2 hours and the battery for the base station drains quicker. The auto mute is not 100%, it will still pickup some ambient noise when in the up position. As the battery wanes, the transmission gets spitty.
