Part of DPA Microphones' 4088 Series, the 4288-DC-F-F03-LE is a cardioid earset mic that features one of the clearest, consistent, and most robust miniature mics you'll find on the market. It comes with a 3-pin LEMO adapter for use with Sennheiser SK 50, SK 250, SK 3063, and SK 5012 wireless transmitters (sold separately). This unit is colored beige and is equipped with an extra-long 120mm (3.9") boom, accommodating varying applications and head sizes.
Its cardioid, directional polar pickup pattern delivers remarkable off-axis rejection in high-SPL situations, efficiently suppressing distant sound sources, and making it ideal for demanding live performance situations where feedback and background noise are concerns.
The mic capsule is a pre-polarized first-order pressure-gradient transducer hidden in a small and lightweight housing. Its sleek, elegant design puts it among the most invisible head-worn cardioid microphones in the world, and it's mountable on either the right or left side.
The legacy 4088 is renowned for performing across a wide dynamic range as well as delivering low distortion across all SPLs. DPA's updated amplifier technology enables you to squeeze even more performance out of your mics with an additional 14 dB THD and Dynamic range.
