The DPA Microphones 4088-DC-A-F34-LH, a member of their 4088 family, one of the most consistent, clear, and robust miniature mics you'll find on the market. This particular model is a headset mic colored in beige, with a cardioid polar pickup pattern, and includes DPA's proprietary technology which adds a bit more performance to an already exemplary 4088 lineup. In addition, it comes with a fixed Mini-Jack connector for use with Sennheiser Evolution, G2, X2 Digital Wireless transmitters, and more (all sold separately).

Its cardioid, directional pickup provides it with exceptional off-axis rejection in high-SPL situations. It efficiently suppresses distant sound sources, making it ideal for demanding live performance situations where feedback and background noise are concerns.

Its smooth and elegant design puts it among the most invisible head-worn cardioid microphones in the world. The mic capsule is a pre-polarized first-order pressure-gradient transducer hidden in a small and lightweight housing. Plus, the microphone can be mounted on either the right or left side.
