With a compact, lightweight body includes all the specs needed from a professional handheld camera, Canon's XF405 compact 4K UHD camcorder gives you the mobility you need in the field. Ideal for news gathering and documentaries, the XF405 improves over previous XF models in many ways, most notably with the inclusion of 4K UHD recording up to 60p, slow motion capabilities to 120p in FHD, and Dual Pixel Autofocus.

The XF405's 4K imaging system -- including a newly developed 1-inch CMOS sensor and new 15x 4K optical zoom lens – delivers great video quality, making it a tremendous choice for a range of applications including small-scale live broadcasts, news, reporting, documentaries, corporate video productions, broadcast & communication schools and more.

The camcorder includes an HDMI 2.0 terminal with 4K UHD output support, two XLR terminals with independent audio level control and a 3G-SDI output that supports camcorder integration into professional workflows. An adjustable 3.5" touch panel LCD monitor and a built-in 0.24" electronic viewfinder enhance usability, and the detachable handle helps the XF405 to operate in a variety of shooting situations.
