Audix M40W12S Miniature High-Output Supercardioid Hanging Mic with 12" Gooseneck, White

A miniaturized condenser microphone with a fully integrated preamp, Audix's M40 is designed with very high sensitivity for distance miking. It's primary applications include Video Teleconferencing (VTC), distance learning, surveillance, hospital rooms, and ambient room miking.

It features RF interference immunity from that caused by cell phones and GSM devices. This particular model, the M40W12S, comes in a white finish (also separately available in black), equipped with a Supercardioid capsule, and is also available with standard cardioid or shotgun capsules (additional capsules sold separately), enabling usage in a wide range of applications.

Easy to install, it requires only a 5/8" hole be drilled in the ceiling tile with no additional tools needed. The cable assembly is equipped with terminal block connectors. And for installations where plenum-rated cable is required to be employed, a UL-rated, metal plenum junction box is available (JBM40, sold separately)
