Whirlwind's WFF8x1 is a 9" x 9" wall frame with a 1" connector panel recess depth. This patent-pending wall frame assembly with recessed panel fits an 8" x 8" x 4" recessed electrical box, and provides greater protection for connectors while enhancing the appearance of your installation.
The WFF8x1 mounts "in the wall" and its mounting flanges extend one-half inch beyond the edge of the back box on all four sides to provide a visually appealing trim ring effect to the finished wall.
