Telefunken TK62 Hypercardioid Capsule for ELA M260 and M60 FET Microphones

The Telefunken Elektroakustik TK62 Hypercardioid Capsule is a small-diaphragm hyper-cardioid capsule that's made for use with their ELA M 260 tube microphone and the M60 FET microphone. It features a 6-micron gold-sputtered membrane that measures 15mm in diameter, and provides a hyper-cardioid pattern that's flat in response from 150 Hz to 3 kHz, with a dip at 6 kHz and a smooth, airy presence peak at 8 kHz. This capsule is tested to a strict tolerance of ±1dB sensitivity. Its tightened polar pattern is great for use on cymbals and percussion, as well as in a stereo pair for live performance recording, as found in the ELA M 260 Field Set (sold separately).
