Product Overview

The incredible MH2 Series PowerPly mesh heads take the revolutionary technology from Roland's V-Drums electric drum set to create at series of mesh heads meant to retrofit onto your acoustic set for quiet practice. Nine heads produced by REMO Inc. are available, ranging from 8" to 22" to fit any snare, tom, or kick drum on your kit. What's more, these heads can be used with Roland's RT-30 Acoustic Drum Triggers (sold separately) to transform your drum set into an electric kit that looks and feels just like the real thing.

Typical single-ply mesh heads that other brands offer are fairly notorious for losing tension after a few days of playing. Thankfully, the MH2-10 comes with one 10" dual-ply mesh head, which Roland has tested to prove it requires less frequent tuning, making them work longer and more consistently. The combination of the dual-ply design and the consistent tension assures more accurate trigger response.
