Eartec Co ETXC-5 2-Channel Com-Center Transceiver with 5 Xtreme Headsets

The EarTec ETXC-5 is a 5-person Xtreme All in one Headset combination with one ComSTAR Com-Center transceiver.

EarTec's ComSTAR wireless systems are popular communication tools for craneworks & construction crews as well as avionics and defense contractors. Since workers in these fields are mostly required to wear safety equipment, headset accessories compatible with bump caps and hard hats are a prerequisite.

The Con-Center is a master tranceiver that is at the heart of every complete ComSTAR full duplex wireless system. This centralized signal relay continuously accepts the voice transmissions coming from all the ComSTAR wireless headsets and then sends them back out to everyone in the talk net.

The Com-Center is battery operated but can also be powered by regualar wall current (rechargable NIMH battery, disposable battery sled and AC adapter are inlcuded). Each Com-Center accomodates two seperate groups of four users operating on different channels. A simple conference switch allows all eight users to communicate together. Two Com-Centers can be interlinked doubling capacity to 16 people all talking simultaneously in full duplex mode.
