Sony HDVF-EL30 0.7" Full HD OLED Viewfinder with 3.5" Display

The Sony HDVF-EL30 is a 0.7" (viewable area, measured diagonally) full HD OLED viewfinder, that enables quick pixel response and focusing and tracking on moving objects. It delivers remarkably high contrast and a wide dynamic range, due to the incorporation of revolutionary Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display technology.

It features a specially developed optical loupe, making a high eye-point possible, and allows operators to see a wider area of the picture if they stand back from the eye piece. To avoid vignetting, the viewfinder's displayed image can be downscaled via menu or assignable button.

The HDVF-EL30 also comes equipped with an additional 3.5", quarter HD (960 x 540) sub-LCD display for direct monitoring over a longer distance. Using both sub-LCD panel and OLED displays offers full operational flexibility and enables a camera assistant to monitor the sub-LCD display while the camera operator uses the main OLED one. The sub-LCD panel can display a tally indicator and the camera number. The included foldable hood minimizes sunlight reflection.

The HDVF-EL30 viewfinder works with a wide array of cameras such as the F65 Sony motion picture cameras, 4K/HD system cameras, and shoulder-type HD camcorders supporting the 20-pin round HDVF interface.
