- Nordstrand™ CND PJ Pickups: SR650 features Nordstrand CND pickups in a classic P/J combination, a versatile setup almost indispensable for the working musician. It's able to get a killer huge P tone from the P style pickup. Deep and wide with a ton of punch. Also, the single coil bridge pickup will do famous J players sound for days. Then, with the flexibility of the preamp, you can get a massive modern sound that will go from slappy deep R & B to raging metal.
- 3-band EQ wtih EQ Bypass Switch: EQ controls include a 3-band Active EQ with a bypass switch for precise tone management.
- Jatoba/Bubinga Slim Neck: Two of the most rigid and musical hardwoods set against one another to provide a thin neck with reliable long-term harmony.
- Extended Neck Joint: The neck tongue not only creates a unique look, it also makes utilizing the higher frets easier.
