Part of their PRX800W series, the JBL PRX825W is a full-range speaker designed for main system use. Featuring a dual 15", 2-way, bass-reflex design powered by a 1500-watt class-D amplifier, the PRX825W delivers incredible volume in a lightweight, compact form factor.
If simple set-up is required, and full bandwidth output at high levels is essential, then the JBL PRX825W is most likely your optimum solution. Featuring the same foot print as the PRX815W, this dual 15" woofer design produces enough low frequency content to serve most live music or music playback situations. When combined with a PRX subwoofer (or multiple subwoofers), the system then becomes a high volume sound reinforcement solution, great for regional tour companies and AV Rental companies looking for an audio solution that's scalable and easy to employ. The PRX818XLFW (sold separately) is recommended in conjunction with the PRX825W, as the extended low frequency capabilities of the subwoofer can compliment the frequency response of the PRX825W.
