A compact, affordable package that is an ideal fit for smaller productions where quality and performance is essential, the Ross Video Carbonite Black Solo is a production switcher engineered to offer the performance, features, reliability, and high-quality design of their best-selling Carbonite Series Production Switchers. Solo is packed with the features that Carbonite owners love using every day. It provides incredible video production horsepower to equip a production studio, flight pack, or add as a back-up switcher. This Carbonite Black Solo unit is the all-in-one version with combined control panel and electronic processing, delivering maximum portability.
Not your ordinary compact production switcher, Solo brings with it an astounding feature set. The Solo's powerful single ME includes 4 keyers along with a transition keyer, for DVE and Media Wipes, as well as 1 high-quality Ultrachrome chroma keyer. Solo also comes with 2 MiniMEs – great for use in event production or for secondary outputs. Each MiniME has 2 of its own keyers - offering a remarkable 9 keyers in total. Solo's impressive video feature set also includes a MultiViewer plus 4 MediaStores for animated graphics and stills.
Solo is unrivaled in its class with its ability to control devices - including robotic cameras, video servers, and audio mixer control interfaces. Integration with DashBoard makes it possible to create a purpose-built user interface for specific production environments. Solo can also work with ViewControl, a touch screen user interface that integrates the live Solo MultiViewer into a touch screen control panel, making production super-easy.
It comes with an XPression LiveCG software license to offer production graphics. If the deployment also includes a separate XPression Go, Prime, or Studio system, it can be employed as an added Designer seat.
Combining Carbonite Solo with XPression Real Time Motion Graphics and ACID camera systems will result in a tightly integrated solution for the production all kinds of awesomely creative live productions.
