The FA2006VDPAB from DPA is a handheld interview microphone that is for wired (XLR) use that comes in the color black. This professional broadcast provides outstanding voice clarity, linearity, and low noise. Wind and handling noise rejection is superior to competing microphones straight out of the box. And, in most cases, you will not need the extra foam windscreens or fur windjammers.

The phantom-powered DPA handle has a sleek look and state-of-the-art electronic design. And, if you decide to go wireless, you can just switch to an adapter for wireless systems at a quarter of the cost of a new microphone. The modular nature of this series allows you to replace both the capsule as well as the adapter.

The Twin Diaphragm Omnidirectional Microphone Capsule is a linear omnidirectional mic capsule optimized for broadcast interviews. This design is a special twin-diaphragm omnidirectional capsule. It is built out of two miniature capsules mounted back-to-back. The well-known sonic signature of these tiny capsules secures high consistency and frequency neutrality. You can remove the capsule and replace it with any other DPA capsule if your needs change.

The mic also features a robust three-stage pop protection grid built into the microphone that removes unwanted noise.

Although this version of the Interview Microphone comes with a Handle for a wired solution, the Interview Microphone is also an ideal option to use with your favorite wireless system.
