Lowell CN-4 4" Grille, White

The Lowell CN-4 Torsion grille presents a clean appearance with a contoured edge for specifications requiring ceiling speakers to be void of visible mounting hardware. The grille utilizes welded speaker studs and torsion brackets with springs to mount into torsion receptacles that are welded into specified Lowell backboxes (order separately). The grille is ideal for 4” speaker installations in offices, hotels, airports, restaurants and similar venues. The outer ring is precision formed from 20-gauge steel with a welded steel mesh center, inner ring with speaker studs, and white powder epoxy finish for a long lasting quality appearance. Four welded studs (8-32 x 3/4”) are spaced to mount a standard 4” (EIA 5”) driver using palnuts provided. The grille includes two torsion bracket/spring devices that allow the speaker/grille assembly to mount into a torsion receptacle in specified Lowell backboxes. Each torsion bracket installs to opposite speaker mounting studs with 8-32 nuts (provided). Each torsion spring installs to one of four holes in bracket with a shoulder bolt and clip (provided). Versatile spring position on bracket allows easy depth adjustment. Torsion assemblies are typically installed before the driver and will support a driver/transformer assembly weight up to 3.5 lbs.
