Delivering Roland's renowned "JC Clean" tone along with signature stereo chorus effect in a compact dual 10" 40W combo amplifier, the JC-40 is the newest addition in a long line of innovative amplifiers. Based on the flagship JC-120 amplifier, the JC-40 provides a classic stereo clean sound that's well-suited for use alongside stompbox effects. Plus, there's a true stereo input for enhanced performance with stereo effects pedals, guitar synths, amp modeling gear, and multi-effects. If you prefer to stick with just the amp, the JC-40 is also equipped with onboard effects such as the trademark Dimensional Space Chorus stereo effect, vibrato, distortion, and reverb.

The rear panel of the JC-40 offers many connectivity options; patch in mono or stereo effects via the effects loop with your choice of serial or parallel operation. The Line Out jacks give you a mono or stereo feed to run to a mixing board or recorder, and the headphone jack allows for silent practice that wont' keep your neighbors up at night. There's even support for optional footswitches to be added to the JC-40 to enable or disable the onboard chorus/vibrato, reverb, and distortion effects while performing.
