Softube Heartbeat Drum Synthesizer Plugin

Inspired by the great analog drum synthesizers from the 80s, Softube's Heartbeat drum synthesizer plugin combines those classic sounds with modern innovations to create a software drum synth that sounds familiar, yet new at the same time.

This plugin features modeled analog synthesis created by Softtube that has been augmented with carefully selected waveforms to provide the most realistic analog drum sounds from a software plugin. The heart of Heartbeat consists of its 8 instrument channels, with two different bass drum channels to create punchy and deep sounds alongside snappy and hard-hitting woody textures. There are also two dedicated snare drum channels that have siz parameters each to allow you to achieve anything from edgy rimshots, soft and whispery snare rolls, to machine-like claps. The percussion channels are identical and can be used to model anything from 80s style synthetic toms to cowbells and noise drops. The hi-hat and cymbal channels offer flexible synthesis engines as well for maximum tweakability.

There are also built-in effects included with Heartbeat so you can get your kit setup exactly how you want it without having to open multiple plugins. Heartbeat includes a model of Softube's Valley People Dyna-mite, which is a versatile dynamic shaping tool that gives you access to limiting, compression, gating, and sidechained ducking without breaking a sweat. Heartbeat also includes the TSAR-1, which is an incredibly well-built reverb to give you the huge room sounds you need. There's also a Filter Echo which provides a filtered delay effect with adjustable cut-off and resonance parameters for even more tweaking goodness.

This plugin is also equipped with Softube's innovative Auto Layer Machine, which has four channels that can be used to layer sounds or trigger a chain of events to create wholly new sound textures or fill patterns. There's even a Chaos slider to add an element of randomness to the ALM, in case things are just a little too boring.
