RØDE Microphones' VideoMic Pro combines broadcast quality audio with a compact and lightweight ergonomic design. The company's updated version of this shotgun mic, the VideoMic Pro-R, comes with a Rycote® Lyre® shockmount, HPF and level control. The mic is designed to connect directly to consumer video cameras and DSLRs, and incorporates features specific to high-end video - particularly its noise transference, which has been significantly reduced using a revised shock mounting system and a lightweight premium cable.
