iConnectivity's iConnectAUDIO4+ 4x4 USB audio/MIDI interface is unique amongst smaller form factor audio interfaces as it offers dual USB outputs, which allows it to be connected to two devices at once, including iOS devices and Mac/Windows PCs. This interface makes it easy to have your recording sessions located in multiple places at once without having to deal with transferring files back and forth, so if you want to take your session on the road and edit on your iPad while keeping a clean version on your recording computer, the iConnectAUDIO4+ allows you to do so with ease. Plus, this interface will charge an iOS device while it is connected, so you don't have to worry about draining the battery during those long sessions.

Not only do you get two USB outputs, there's also an onboard Host USB input, which allows for up to 8 external USB-MIDI devices to be connected to this interface via a class-compliant powered USB hub (sold separately). This means that if you've got an extensive collection of outboard sound modules or synthesizers, the iConnectAUDIO4+ can be your central hub to cut down on cable clutter while still ensuring access to all your gear.

On the front of the interface, you'll find its four XLR-1/4" combo jack inputs, which can handle microphone-, line-, and instrument-level signals, and phantom power is switchable on all four inputs if you are using condenser microphones. On its rear, there are four balanced 1/4" outputs along with a dedicated 1/4" headphone output with an independent mix. You also get a standard 5-pin DIN MIDI in and out, so if you've got MIDI gear that doesn't have a USB connection, you can still hook it up to without hassle.
