Product Overview
The ATEM Talkback Converter 4K from Blackmagic Design handles up to 8 cameras for SDI talkback using embedded audio channels 15 and 16 as used on the Blackmagic Studio Cameras and ATEM Camera Converter.
With 4K cameras that include 12G-SDI and the new ATEM switcher with 12G-SDI, you need a new talkback product to manage talkback with cameras. However unlike Blackmagic Design's ATEM Studio Converter, they wanted to change up the design. The new ATEM Talkback Converter now has BNC 12G-SDI connections so you can run simple BNC SDI cables to the cameras, and this means don’t have to run optical fiber if you don’t need it. Optical fiber in this product is optional and the SMPTE SFP modules are not installed, that means you can install them if you need them, and you don’t have to pay for optical fiber interfaces you don't need.
Offers push to talk buttons, support for tough and common aviation headsets, loop though for more than 8 camera support, built in speaker, front panel mic input and much more.
NOTE: Blackmagic does not include IEC cables on this product. We recommend also buying a C2G 03133, a 6’ IEC universal power cable.
