Product Overview

The FOR-A Corporation MV-4200 is a 2U multi-viewer that accepts up to 68 channels of mixed 3G/HD/SD-SDI, analog composite, HDMI, DVI, or RGBHV signals for monitoring on 8 screens. Full-featured, this unit offers a customizable window layout, audio level meters, and AFD-compatible cropping.

Combine optional input cards - an MV-4200SDI card (3G/HD/SD-SDI, analog composite x20) or MV-4200HDMI card (DVI-I/HDMI/RGBHV x8) - or the MV4200IF interface card (GPIO, serial control, and input of analog audio, SES audio and genlock) as needed. Input cards are sold separately from the MV-4200 unit.

A Windows based application is provided for managing and creating screen layouts. Customize the layout on a computer by registering or changing layout patterns, adjusting title displays, and configuring other settings as needed. Store up to 68 layout patterns on the viewer. Saved layouts can be applied directly from the front panel control.

In addition to computer-based layout management, you can also stream video from the viewer over Ethernet. The streaming video can be used for additional local computer displays or for remote monitoring applications.

Take streaming a step further by capturing the video. Frames before and after errors or specified triggers are captured and can be saved to a Windows computer as a sequence of still-image files.

Supports mixed signals as required, from 3G-SDI (Level-A/B), HD-SDI, SD-SDI, analog composite, HDMI, DVI, or RGBHV sources. Asynchronous input is also supported. The viewer accepts an array of formats and frame rates including NTSC, PAL, 1080/59.94i, 1080/50i, and 23.98/24/25/29.97/30 P or. PsF. (No frame rate conversion.)

Up to 8 channels of output, each with HDMI and SDI interfaces available for HD monitoring support.

Monitor up to 16 channels embedded audio levels in each 3G/HD/SD-SDI or HDMI signal. Use Layout Manager to customize display positions, number of channels, and display groups.

Audio from any channel can be monitored via HD-SDI, HDMI, or analog audio output.

Indicates errors by full-screen display, flashing border, error icon, or error message prominently identifying the relevant frame.

With Tally, choose from frame tally or marker tally display. With Titles, you can identify each source channel with a title. Supports display of alphanumeric characters, symbols, and Korean. With Timecode, ancillary timecode in 3G/HD/SD-SDI signals can be displayed

Supports clock time synchronization with the SNTP server. Up to 8 clocks can be displayed in analog or digital format. Date display is also available. This feature can be also used as a count up/down timer, or remaining time counter.

Register up to 8 logos. Up to 2 in 4K size or 8 in 2K size background images can be registered. Add 8 logos in total and one background image per output, as required.
