Nigel B Design NB-UIM-20-WHITE White Anti-Vibration Adaptor for Projector and Mounts

From Nigel B Design comes the NB-UIM-20, an Anti-Vibration Adaptor for Projector and Mounts. This version comes in the color white and handles weights between 15 to 20 pounds. This item is perfect for retro-fiting installations because vibration does not always show up until after the Projector or Camera is installed. Nigel B 's Retro-Fit Patent Applied for Design is far easier to install and is also more effective at curing vibration problems than any other product.

The NB-UIM Anti-Vibration Adaptor is installed 3" above the projector's mount and ships completely assembled for instant attachment to the projector's 1 1/2" (diameter) pole. All of Nigel B's Anti-Vibration Devices use a proprietary Visco-Elastic Polymer that flows like a liquid under load. Combining this fast reacting high energy absorption with a near faultless long memory, guarantees it will outlast any other material, including all one dimensional materials like rubber or springs that are often used in an attempt to cure vibration. Rubber in particular has a short life and Springs will also lose their efficiency over a similar short time.

NOTE: To be totally effective, certain requirements have to be met.

• Installer must first calculate the total Hung Weight (Projector, Mount and Pipe) beneath where the Anti-Vibration Adaptor itself is to be placed.
• Correct positioning is also very important.
• The Anti-Vibration Adaptor should be installed as close as possible to theProjector’s Mount, ideally be 6" or less but no more than 12" distance. Inorder to maintain the original Projector's Height Position reduce theProjector's original Pipe length by the added length of the Nipple and Isolation Adaptor.
