Switronix HYPERCORE-98S 98Wh 14.8V Li-on Battery Pack with V-Mount

The new Hypercore-98S from Switronix is one of a series of battery packs that employ the latest in Lithium Ion technology. Specifically designed for Switronix, the Hypercore cell was constructed with the specific purpose of handling and sustaining high power draws. The cells can withstand up to a 10A draw for extended periods of time while not diminishing service life. The HyperCore series delivers the most value and ROI for those who require battery packs to stand the test of time and deliver unrivaled performance.

The HyperCore-98S has the capability of handling up to a 10A draw, an integrated P-tap on the side of the battery allows you to power any 12vdc device from this port and an on-board fuel computer display. The backlit LCD displays your operating runtime in hours and minutes, a capacity bar grid and the percent capacity remaining. The battery's fuel computer samples the capacity and the discharge or charge load, recomputes and refreshes the display every 5 seconds.

The battery packs have a built in accelerometer to initiate a sleep mode when not in use to limit self-discharge. If the battery packs do not detect motion for 48hrs., they willl shutdown. When the slightest motion is detected, they will awake and be at optimum capacity.

Additionally, there is a USB port on the side of the battery capable of outputting up to 3A at 5v.
