Product Overview

The Bose® ControlSpace ESP-4120 engineered sound processor is a single-rack-space DSP with an 4x12 analog audio configuration, built-in ESPLink output and an open digital expansion slot ready to accommodate optional Dante™ or AVB network audio cards. This model meets today’s strict requirements for high-quality signal processing with high-quality digital conversion and poweful signal processing in a cost-effective way.

Device and control configuration is accomplished with the use of the intuitive Bose ControlSpace Designer™ software where an ever-expanding list of algorithms and improvements enable a high level of functionality for most audio installations. Onboard connectivity includes Ethernet configuration and control, RS-232 serial, expandable GPIO with 5 control inputs and 5 control outputs, and support for attractive Bose control centers and volume controls.

A built-in digital expansion slot accommodates networking options including Dante™ and AVB audio networking cards for interfacing with other audio products and systems. For standalone applications or convenient service access, a front panel Ethernet connector allows for local configuration and monitoring. Onboard connectivity includes Serial over Ethernet, RS-232, 5 control inputs, 5 control outputs, and an 8-channel Bose ESPLink output for audio connection with Bose PowerMatch® amplifiers.

Any of the elegant Bose wall-mounted user interfaces— including the programmable CC-64 and CC-16 controllers and three simplified zone volume interfaces— can be used to control all Bose networkable devices.

Open architecture configuration and control is enabled using Bose ControlSpace Designer™ software where an ever-expanding list of algorithms and improvements offers a high level of functionality for audio installations. Bose single rack- space ESPs are designed for a wide variety of applications ranging from small self-contained projects to larger networked applications.
