Product Overview

The RN17 Stereo Pair, designed in conjunction with Rupert Neve Designs, features the RN17's signature large-scale hand wound transformer, adding ultra-high performance transparency and sensitivity to an already-excellent pair of hand made sE Electronics capsules.

The RN17 Stereo Pair is a matched pair of pencil mics that will make your instrument and room recordings come to life, taking on percussive instruments like drums with ease thanks to their massive sound pressure level threshold of 150dB before succumbing to any distortion.

As the RN17 pair is a true representation of hand-made sE Rupert Neve microphones of the highest quality, they are beautifully presented in a professional flight case with protective foam padding. Included in the case are two specially-designed shock mounts, a stereo mounting bar, capsule containers for the optional extra polar-pattern capsules and a warranty card and instructions. The two RN17 pencil mics are encased inside a wooden display case with satin dust covers protecting the microphones from dampness and dust.
