Porta-Brace AR-788CLX AR-788/CLX

PortaBrace's AR-788CLX is a custom-fit Cordura carrying case for the Sound Devices 788 Recorder. The case can be used with or without the CL8. The updated design of the AR-788CLX has a semi-rigid single frame that prevents sagging caused by carrying 6 or more wireless mics. The new design also keeps the weight closer to the sound operator's body to help reduce fatique during long days on set.

There is durable nylon webbing along the front pocket and interior side panels to clip additional transmitters. Nylon "boots" on either side allow access to ports and wireless mic pouch. The openings can be opened wide for complete access or closed tight for greater protection from water and dust.

The single-unit frame fully opens up for easy loading of equipment. A clear vinyl lid quickly zips on to provide protection against an unexpected rain shower. Two-flap design on the back access panel allows for quick battery and SD card access.
