Sennheiser's HMD26-II-600-8 is a broadcast headset that consists of 600-Ohm impedance headphones, an ActiveGuard™ limiter, a dynamic hypercardioid boom microphone, Kevlar® reinforced copper cable with short coiled parts for minimum structure-born noise, and un-terminated ends. It perfectly fits the requirements of any demanding broadcast applications, whether for studio work or outside productions. The headset is lightweight and provides extra soft ear cushions and headband padding for outstanding wearing comfort, even during long production days. These closed, supra-aural headphones are dimensioned for a high maximum SPL and provide a good passive noise attenuation. They come with the ActiveGuard© limiter, which protects the wearer's hearing from any sudden volume peaks higher than 105dB, which can be activated or deactivated manually.

The HMD26-II-600-8 comes with a dynamic hyper-cardioid patterned microphone that has excellent acoustic performance, a reliable noise suppression, and a shock-mounted capsule for absorbing structure born noise. The short flexible part of the boom guarantees the right positioning of the microphone and is perfectly created for any loud environments.
