MLV barrier can be stapled or screwed directly into wall studs for new construction or existing walls. The Vinyl barrier has a combination of Barium, Calcium Carbonate, and EPDM additives to increase density/weight per square foot. All supplements are completely safe for human use in soundproofing applications.
