Product Overview
Lightronics' SR516D allows simple control of lights, keeping the inexperienced away from your lighting console. Its broad feature set make it a great solution for your environment.
Applications:
- Emergency Backup Console
- The SR516D provides dependable backup to the main DMX lighting console.
- The SR516D is designed to be inserted between the main DMX lighting console and the architectural and performance lighting system, including any device connected to the DMX512 data stream.
- Scenes should be constantly updated in theSR516D utilizing the main DMX lighting console to mimic cues used for the current production.
- The scenes should be programmed in a manner that will allow the console operator to bring up all required lighting groups should the main console lose power or become inoperable.
- Plug & Play
- Installing the SR516D into your existing lighting control system is quick and easy.
- 1. Unpack the SR516 from the box.
- 2. Connect the power supply to the SR516D and an AC outlet.
- 3. Remove the DMX cable from the OUTPUT of your console and insert it into the DMX OUT on theSR516D.
- 4. Take the new DMX cable and connect it to the DMX OUT on your lighting console and the DMX IN on the SR516.
- 5. YOU’RE DONE and ready to program and use theSR516D.
- Adding Lightronics Remote Button and Infrared Remotes to theSR516D.
- 1. There is a DB9 connector on the rear of theSR516D.
- 2. West Penn D4852 (or equal) cable provides thedata and power connections between the SR516D and our Remote Button and Infrared Remote stations.
- 3. Pin Connections to the DB9are shown on Page 3 of the SR516 Manual. (found under the "Documentation" tab)
