Cloud 44-A Active Ribbon Mic with Switchable Voice/Music Response

Modeled after the classic RCA Type 44 ribbon microphone, Cloud Microphones' 44-A is handcrafted to the specifications as set by RCA's Harry F. Olson back in the 1930s, though has its share of 21st century improvements, such as Cloud's "ultra-clean" Cloudlifter circuitry.

The 44-A's onboard high-pass filter gives its users the benefits gained from reduced proximity effect when engaged. When turned to the "music" position, the microphone is able to capture a wide range of sources with very high sensitivity.
