Lowell FW-8T 8" Speaker Grille, Torsion Mount, Steel, 13" sq, White

Model FW-8T is an economical, square steel grille that satisfies architectural specifications requiring ceilings speakers to be void of visible mounting hardware. The clean design utilizes a subplate with speaker mounting studs and specially designed torsion devices that mount to the torsion receptacles in Lowell backbox Model RE1175-T (order separately). The square grille has a fine perforated center and is ideal for 8” speaker installations in offices, hotels, retail, professional buildings and dining establishments. The grille is 18-gauge, one-piece perforated steel with a separate subplate and welded studs for mounting an 8” speaker. The grille is 13” square and features a square perforated area with a beveled edge frame for attractive ceiling integration. The grille is finished in white powder epoxy paint for longlasting quality appearance. It includes two torsion bracket/spring devices that are used to mount an 8” speaker/transformer/ grille assembly that weighs less than 3.5 lbs to the torsion receptacles in Lowell backbox Model RE1175-T (order separately). Each torsion bracket installs to the subplate with 8-32 nuts provided.

• The grille for 8" speakers shall be Lowell Model FW-8T. It shall be an 18-gauge steel grille with perforated center and beveled frame separate subplate with welded speaker studs and torsion bracket/spring devices for backbox installation. The grille shall be 13" SQ with a mounting projection of 0.313". The grille shall be finished in white powder epoxy.It shall mount to Lowell backbox Model RE1175-T.
