The FL-540P-6-B floor box is specifically designed for raised access floors with carpeting. It comprises the FL-540P Back Box with a 6-inch depth, offering an effective solution for cable storage while ensuring easy access. The cover features a lift-off section that grants complete access to internal cables and connector plates. Additionally, a smaller hinged trap door folds back to create a cable exit point. When cables are not in use, they can be neatly stored within the box, allowing unobstructed movement across the floor. The robust drop-in floor lip provides support and ensures a flush installation with the floor.

Furthermore, the innovation extends to the "configurable" back box. The FL-540P's internal brackets can be arranged in various configurations to accommodate both high and low voltage standard gang openings, making it the most versatile and user-friendly floor box on the market.

Please note that this floor box is intended exclusively for tiled or carpeted floors where the likelihood of scrub water accumulation is low. It is not suitable for grade-level applications. For grade-level installations, the use of the FL-GRD2/4 pour pan as a foundation before box installation is recommended.
