Switchcraft SC900CT Instrument Direct Box with Phantom Power

Switchcraft's 900 Series instrument Direct Box converts the unbalanced outputs of musical instruments to balanced, mic level signals that can be connected to audio consoles and mic preamps. A premium, fully shielded isolation transformer provides a truly uncolored audio output.

900 Series direct boxes incorporate a revolutionary new innovation in DI technology - Phantom Lift. For the first time, the ground lift switch can be controlled remotely using +48V phantom power from the console. The ground lift can be operated in two modes. Manual Mode enables control of the ground lift from the DI using the toggle switch. Phantom Mode enables control of the ground lift from the console using +48V phantom power. In Phantom Mode, an LED illuminates to indicate that the ground is lifted and turns off when the unit is grounded. The SC900T model features a custom transformer.
