Schoeps CCM4VLG Cardioid Mic

The CCM 4V LG is a cardioid microphone with lateral pickup and a slight high frequency emphasis around 10 kHz. It is part of the Schoeps Compact Microphone Series and includes a K5 LU (16') detachable cable and SGC clamp. It is 12V or 48V phantom powered with XLR-3M, and has a matte gray finish and 3 mm cable diameter.

The directional response is especially well maintained even at higher frequencies, due to the acoustically transparent housing. High-frequency emphasis of off-axis sound – typical of most small axial-response cardioids – occurs less with the CCM 4V, but because of its inherent frequency response, it still sounds somewhat brighter overall.
