Case is fantastic. I thought I was looking for a 6RU case, but after comparing, went with the 8RU. I'm creating a portable HAM setup. It IS a bit bulkier than the 6RU I've seen used but I have space to store the antennas, cabling, spare bits, parts, manuals and truck it all in one package. The 8RU gives a lot of air space to deal with heat and I couldn't be happier.Solid built and fantastic lid clasping system.
