The AMT S25B-TP is Applied Microphone Technology's microphone tail piece mounting system for acoustic basses. It is designed, manufactured by hand, and distributed by AMT in the USA. The system is intended to bolt onto the side of a bass allowing the player to leave the microphone on the instrument while it's being stored in a case.

The tail piece system incorporates the same proven sonic quality that AMT Bass systems have been known for. The TP or tailpiece setup, is intended for the player that always uses or tours with the same instrument. The TP is ideal for the player that would like to leave the microphone mounted to the instrument while traveling.,

The systems are an electret-condenser microphone that has been designed specifically for acoustic bass. All of the parameters that are problematic for the double bass have been addressed.
