Apollo Design Technology AP-GEL-4250 "Apollo Blue" 20" x 24" Gel Sheet

Apollo Design Technology offers the AP-GEL-4250, the "Apollo Blue"-colored 20" x 24" standard gel sheet. It's designed for short-term use, usually 6-10 hours.

This color is recommended for general stage wash.

Apollo Blue Possible uses / suggestions: A good blue wash. A touch of green tint. Good costume color. A bit mysterious. Good for blue CYC wash.

Production companies and photographic markets use these plastic filters to add color to stage scenery and to provide color correction for theatre, film, and television. Gel creates mood by changing the color shade of light. Apollo Gel are coated on both sides of the polyester base because many designers and DP's appreciate and demand the color consistency found in this process and therefore where ever good consistency and transparent colors are required surface coated should be the only choice to ensure perfectly even color consistency throughout the batch and from batch to batch.

There are two widely-accepted gel manufacturing processes: double-coated and deep dyed. Apollo gel is double-coated because many designers appreciate the color consistency found in the double-coated process.
