Adaptive Technologies Group SK-500-S 1/2" Shackle with Screw Pin Anchor, 4000lb WLL, Silver

This screw pin version of Allen Products' ½" shackle, model SK-500-S (Silver), is ideal for the joining of 2 closed-end items together, such as wire rope assemblies, turnbuckles, and eyebolts. The small hole in its pin offers a back-up safety feature by securing a wire or cable tie through the holes and around the body of the shackle, preventing the pin from loosening through vibration and A.K.A. "mousing" the shackle. Shackles are rated for overhead suspensions because of this redundant locking feature and the radius portion of their body structurally accommodates 3-way bridles.
