The CS-304 outdoor speaker features stainless steel hardware for all-weather durability. It is designed to offer the high intelligibility of weather-resistant horns combined with the high sound quality of dynamic speakers. The CS-304 employs the rotary switch that facilitates impedance changes. It also employs a constant directivity horn for clear sound output over its horizontal range of 90?operation.
TOA CS Series Wide-Range Paging Speakers are ideal for indoor and outdoor commercial sound system applications for voice paging, background music and tone signaling distribution. Compared to traditional metal paging horns, CS Series speakers offer wider frequency range and superior sound quality. CS Series models include the CS-64/U (6 W), CS-154/U (15 W) and CS-304/U (30 W). Each includes a built-in 70.7V/100 V transformer with screwdriver-adjustable power taps. All CS models are fully weather-resistant to withstand demanding environmental conditions with a sealed enclosure, full-range moisture-resistant cone speaker, stainless-steel mounting hardware and a protective mesh grille. The enclosure is also coated with polyurethane resin paint to resist the fading effects of prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light. The CS Series Wide-Range Paging Speakers are backed with a five year warranty. Also see the new SC Series Paging Horn Speakers.
For outdoor installation, it is recommended that they are installed under roofs, eaves, or in other locations not directly exposed to rain or snow.
Do not install the speaker face-up from a horizontal plane nor in such a way that the paper cone is exposed to direct sunlight. If water accumulates on the paper cone, or ultraviolet rays are radiated on it, this may cause the paper cone to deteriorate, leading to speaker malfunction.
