I'm a home recording guy, and all my cables were Mogami 2534(mic, trs snakes, and speakers). I switched everything to proco and did an AB test against the Mogami cables. It was a good enough change that I bought all Proco cables. Talking with a tech, he said the Proco cables might reject noise better(60 cycle hum and other). If you add up all those cables it makes a very heavy low end that is hard to eq out. I will also look into star grounding in the future.
