The body is made out of laser etched aluminum, part of the Quiet Cool™ Design that keeps heat and noise extremely low. A FireWire chipset by TI means maximum compatibility with your audio interface and 3rd party hardware along with USB 2.0 and eSATA for high speed streaming to external drives up to 3Gb/s.
