QSC KW153 15" 3-Way Active Speaker, 1000W

The KW Series from QSC represents the next evolutionary step in wood-enclosure loudspeakers. QSC system engineers have created the KW Series to feature all the groundbreaking electronic attributes of their popular K Series, while at the same time being both smaller and significantly lighter than previous wood-enclosure models. The KW153 features a QSC-designed, 1000W (2 x 500W continuous) Class D power module. Along with its 15” woofer, it’s fitted with a 6.5” midrange cone transducer and a high-output 1.75-inch HF compression driver to handle the high end. The K153 provides 75° conical coverage, and can also function as a monitor floor wedge. Its rugged, texture-painted birch enclosure boasts a professional look as well as stellar sound, with a tour-grade 16-gauge steel grille, ergonomic handles, 35mm pole sockets with Tilt-Direct, and M10 rigging points for suspended installs. The K153’s mixer section has two combo inputs plus stereo RCA ins, along with two direct channel outputs and a single summed balanced out. The extensive onboard DSP features DEEP and Intrinsic Correction technologies that enhance system performance, while GuardRail protects both the amp module and your performance from unnatural, destructive clipping.
