OUR PART # VZ-DVRODS
The DV Rods system boasts an impressive range of adjustment that will accommodate most cameras, and the X-Y rods-adjustment plates are even reversible to allow greater upward adjustment. When paired with VariZoom’s quick release mechanism, the possibilities are extended even further.
Created with an eye toward the future, the DV Rods system has additional threaded holes to enable attachment of aft-mount rods that will allow even more accessories to be mounted behind the camera, helping to counterbalance the fore-mounted accessories while keeping the overall configuration’s center of gravity low.
Designed to work with the VZ-FCU and EFCU focus control systems for the Sony PWM-EX1 and EX3, the DV Rods system not only provides a mount for the focus bracket, it will allow users to add a mattebox or any other accessory that can be mounted to standard 15mm rods (19mm-15mm step-down adapter rings available for separate purchase).
The DV Rods system was designed with functionality in mind, with a broad, flat mounting surface and low profile to prevent top-heaviness that can lead to awkward tilting or wobbly shots. The VZQRP is a highly recomended accessory for use with the Sony PMW-EX1/EX3.
