Sibelius SIBELIUS-6

Sibelius 6 is notation software geared for educators, students, arrangers, copyists and musicians of all kinds.

• Versions - keeps track of revisions and progress.  Compare and A/B two versions of a score with summary and detailed list of all the differences.  Comments can also be written and color coaded like Post-Itâ„¢ notes.
• Live Tempo - Tap a key and Sibelius will follow the beat.
• Integrated playback - a separate player such as Kontact Player 2, is no longer needed. Everything can be adjusted via the mixer, including new effects on each staff (convolution reverb, chorus, distortion, timber, etc).
• Sibelius Sounds Essentials - new and improved orchestral, choral and jazz sounds from Garritan, Tapspace and AIR.
• Keyboard and fretboard windows

Minimum requirements for Sibelius 6 alone

Windows XP 32-bit SP2 or later, or Windows Vista 32-bit SP1 or later, 512MB+ RAM, 550MB hard disk space, DVD-ROM drive

Mac OS X 10.4.9 or later or Mac OS X 10.5, 512MB+ RAM, 550MB hard disk space, DVD-ROM drive

Additional recommendations for using the included Sibelius Sounds Essentials sound library

Windows: Intel Core Duo or AMD Turion or better, 1GB+ total physical RAM (2GB recommended), 3.5GB total hard disk space, ASIO-compatible soundcard

Mac: Intel Core Duo or better, 1GB+ total physical RAM (2GB recommended), 3.5GB total hard disk space

You can use Sibelius Sounds Essentials if your computer doesn’t meet the recommended requirements, but you may find that you cannot use as many sounds simultaneously.
