Yamaha IMX644

The IMX644 digital mixer is ideally suited for permanent installations. In a compact 2U rack mount unit, it offers multiple mono and stereo analog inputs and outputs as well as digital inputs that allow flexible integration in a wide range of audio systems. In addition to detailed setup and control from a computer running the dedicated IMX644 Manager application, easy front-panel control of basic functions and memory recall capability allow effective, error-free operation by users who have no specialized knowledge or experience.

Designed for applications such as conference rooms, banquet halls, bars and restaurants, the IMX644 delivers excellent sound quality. It features six Euroblock mono inputs (each with individual +48V control), four RCA stereo inputs and an additional optical digital input. Outputs comprise two pairs of stereo Euroblock connectors, plus two channels of mono output. RCA and optical digital output are also available for recording.

The IMX644 is very intuitive for inexperienced operators to use. It has many advanced features accessed from a computer running manager software, connected to the mixer via a USB port. The software includes a feedback suppressor and automatic ducking on all mono inputs, with six band parametric EQ, digital delay and output balance on all outputs. Complete configurations can be saved to any one of 16 instantly-recallable scenes. GPI inputs and outputs are provided as well as a RS232-C remote connection, which allows remote control via third party systems such as AMX or Crestron. The IPA8200 power amplifier is a perfect match for use with the IMX644.
