Sanyo PLC-XL51

The PLC-XL51 is an ultra short-throw projector with 2700 ANSI lumens and a 1200:1 contrast ratio. It can project an 80" diagonal image from about three inches on to a projection surface. The PLC-XL51 is equipped with Sanyo’s exclusive PJ Network Interface for wired and wireless networking, now MAC compatible, a common feature among Sanyo’s extensive line of commercial projectors. Networking allows the monitoring of projector functions and operation from a long distance via a web browser. Emails can be sent automatically to report operating status. The wireless interface is compatible with IEEE802.11b/g standards, offering transfer speeds up to 54Mbps and providing WEP 64/128-bit security.

The PLC-XL51 built-in Memory Viewer can use a SD memory card dedicated to the projector. With Memory Viewer, projected images can be edited with a slide converter (Index data), bitmap data and JPEG data. Projection surface-oriented features include top and bottom keystone correction for proper alignment of the projector and a Color Board Mode, which allows adjustment of the hue when projecting an image on a color (non-white) surface so that it appears to be projected on a white surface. The additional Black Board Mode enables educational institutions to use the projector with all standardized educational boards.
