Lowell's SCS-4RK 4-step rackmount keyswitch sequencer provides time-delayed activation and de-activation of equipment that is connected to Lowell Remote Power Controls and to a variety of accessory systems.  Slim, 1RU chassis mounts in minimal space to sequentially activate equipment that is connected in the same rack or in remote locations.  Sequence operation is initiated by a front-mounted keyswitch.  Front mounted LED's provide visual powering status of connected equipment and a front adjustable delay allows 0.5-10 seconds between steps.

The SCS-4RK provides four rear-access barrier strip control outputs, contacts for connecting remote switches, and an alarm interface for use where required by local building code.  Each of the four control outputs include switch contacts for connection to remote power control-activated equipment and auxiliary dry contacts for sequentially activating accessory systems such as projector screens, lighting, blinds, etc.

To sequentially activate equipment, each switch output contact (common, switched relay) is connected via 2 conductor wire to an RPC Series remote power control (sold separately) and then to the equipment to be sequentially activated.  A single output can be connected to one remote control with one piece of equipment or may be connected to up to ten remote controls, in daisy chain format, with multiple pieces of equipment each.

To sequentially activate accessory systems or indicator devices, each control output includes accessory contacts (normally closed, common, normally open) with a rating of 5A for connection to peripheral devices.

To remotely operate the sequencer unit the rear panel also features contacts for connecting an optional switch (up to 8 quantity in parallel) using 3 conductor wire.  Steel chassis is 19"W x 1.75"H (1RU) x 9"D with Lowell's durable black epoxy finish.  Includes UL Listed 18VAC power supply.
