The YSP-4000 digital sound projector offers true multi-channel surround sound from a single component. It features advanced technologies such as 1080p-compatible HDMI, analog video to HDMI digital video up-conversion, and component/composite inputs. Other features include iPod compatibility, XM ready, XM HD surround sound and Neural Surround, built-in FM tuner, RS-232C for custom installation, Dolby Pro Logic II, DTS Digital Surround, CINEMA DSP, and more. The YSP-4000BL version is black.

IntelliBeam ensures optimum multi-channel sound reproduction with accurate image location. By monitoring and analyzing the sound with the included microphone, IntelliBeam automatically sets the best beam angles, while optimizing the level and frequency response of each beam. It also offers Direct Start function via remote unit. This makes initial setup both extremely simple while acoustically perfect. A variety of beam settings allow for true multi-channel surround sound.
